A Forest Walk

Inklings.ie

A Forest walk, on a summer day, the sun shining bright on this fair land.

The mirror of the grass, in the waters edge watching the wild life play in reef.

The ducks they splash around, they hop up onto dry land

Where there they wash their furry feathers.

In the evening, the whole sky changes in the evening.

The stars are sparkling in the sky, while the sun is going down

Although yet we cannot see them till night fall.

As I walk in the evening, my mind is opened to this massive blue moon.

Where shadows hide and birds fill hte sky as they fly home to where their nest is nigh!

But what about poor old humpty dumpty who sat on a wall

Well, in this instand he sat by the waters edge and a frog jumped up

to chop his head off
