As of 2025, Inklings have 30+ members, 10+ of whom have published or are writing novels & poetry collections. Inklings has a weekly column in The Westmeath Examiner. The group’s intention is to have fun at the meetings and to cater for people of all writing abilities who have a love of writing. Inklings meet every Tuesday morning at 11am & every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm – at Annebrook House Hotel, Austin Friars Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland N91 YH2F.

Visitors are very welcome. Just bring a pen and a writing pad and let your imagination soar to the heavens.
