Deirdre is a native of Athlone town and considers herself a proud Roscommon woman. She has been living in Mullingar over 20 years,  however has only recently found her way to Inklings. She feels that she is finally giving voice to the stories that have lived quietly inside her for years. Anything that allows Deirdre to tap into her creative side is what she believes keeps her balanced. She writes with heart, honesty and a deep love for language. This is a new chapter for her and she is very excited to see the where the words take her!
