The Seeds of Life

by Louise Ryan

The wondrous days that pass,
With each swift breath blow fast
The seeds of life are cast,
Oblivious to how long they are actually going to last
Those parading through the park,
Each step a crunching footprint to my heart,
The lost tears wasted from the start,
Unopened memories faded throughout my past
Afraid of life but terrified of none,
Constant worries weighing a tonne
Feeling lost, alone and tiresome,
But eternally searching for the stars and the sun
Feelings of hope and optimism in bundles,
Sunlight radiating the unlimited tunnels,
Rainbows glittering in the puddles,
Distant are the worrying troubles
Have I found what I was seeking for?
The stars cannot be found on the floor
Never had I unlocked the opportunity door
Happier now than I ever was before….
Dreams Searched….
Fear Forgotten…..
Leaves Settled….
