Time for presents, time for joy,
Energetic anticipation, both girl and boy.
Tinsel on tree, with star on top,
Waiting for Santa, on snow roof top.

Mulled wine, while kids in bed,
Promises made, yes Santa said.
Kids bed early, told not to wake,
Exciting time of year, no mistake.

Santa’s come, kids awake, early morn,
Celebrate presents and special child born.
So be good, spread Xmas cheer, nice to most,
And maybe, just maybe Santa read your post.
