Stop doing the same thing over and over again.
‘Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results,’
Albert Einstein said that
Albert was a genius. So why not learn genius from Albert.
Are you doing the same thing over and over again, hoping things will get better?
Addicted to normal life?
Are your Septembers the same?
Education’s flame firing up.
‘It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education,’
Albert said.
So ditch formal education; nurture curiosity instead.
‘I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious,’
Albert said.
Curiosity brings light to problems.
‘Problems cannot be solved with the same level of thinking that created them.’
Albert said.
So who created problems? Eh…Ourselves.
‘Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, And I’m not sure about the universe,’
Albert said
So don’t cause problems. Instead, trust in God.
‘When the solution is simple, God is answering,’
Albert said.
Believe in miracles.
‘There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle, or you can live as if everything is a miracle,’
Albert said.
Love is a miracle, but be careful.
…it’s not conducive to safe driving.
‘Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves,’
Albert said.
So stop the car.
For if you continue driving whilst kissing
You might drive over a cliff.
And then gravity would prevail
‘You can’t blame gravity for falling in love,’
Albert said
If you’re falling in love, keep falling.
Don’t let common sense stop you.
‘Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen,’
Albert said.
Forget common sense.
Do something uncommon, like learn from Albert.
…Relativity…
For this, think of two things:
Number One: A pretty girl
Number Two: A hot stove.
Sit with the pretty girl for an hour and it’ll seem like a minute.
Sit on the hot stove for a minute and it’ll seem like an hour.
That’s Relativity.
Now you know.
[Of course you may replace pretty girl with pretty boy.
Or dog – if you prefer dogs]
But not sheep.
Be the lost sheep.
The lost sheep’s the one that gets the one-one embrace with the Good Shepherd
…the only one.
Let people write parables about you,
Wondering who the hell are you
Hailing you mysterious.
‘The most beautiful thing is the mysterious; it’s the source of true art and science,’
Albert said.
Men love mysterious women.
Women who reveal very little.
Like nuns – or maybe not nuns.
‘Imagination is more important than knowledge.’
Albert said.
Become passionately curious about the person sitting next to you.
‘I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious,’
It’s worth repeating.
And finally:
‘True genius is the recognition that you know nothing.’
Albert said.
That is the signature of genius.
If I’d put that as the first line, would you have read the rest?
