Wasting Time

by Douglas Raeside

If time doesn’t exist, how can we put it to waste
This interval life that we count pace .

Time creates pressure in this limited life
Yes, some do marry, Love to beautiful wife.

If time pressure did not exist, would we fret,
Time counting fools, they called I bet.

So I waste time on love and life to all
This world broken clock will someday fall.

So I waste time writing words with digital pen
Are we just time pawns, yes very limited men.

Wasting time yes on this beautiful wonderful life,
A family mine and oh yes, my beautiful wife.

So waste time because this helps us enjoy
This amazing gift of life, youthful heart boy.
