On this day in history

there remains a mystery,

of something forgotten

in a lost and found.

Not keen on sobriety,

a member of society,

planted something rotten

in the cold damp ground.

A race in solidarity

causing world hilarity

seeking out a president

from no fit choice.

Populace in unity,

are treated with impunity,

as is every resident

who uses their voice.
