Rudolf is getting ready, shining his nose
Mrs Clause is busy, ironing Santy’s clothes.
Little elves flying around filling the sleigh.
The rest of the reindeer having a nap in the hay.
Santy checks his list, not one but twice,
Checking to see who is naughty or nice.
The list for naughty this year is blank he sees,
He rubs his hands together, full of glee.
Screws are being tightened,
Bows are being tied,
Elder elves are working hard,
Wrapping presents with pride.
Two corners remain empty in the sleigh,
For late requests to be filled without delay.
Santy eats no cookies for a week
Knowing of all the goodies, he will get to feast.
Boys and girls are preparing,
Christmas trees, decorated, no sparing,
Stockings hung by the fire with care,
Lots of magic in the air.
The night grows quiet, the world gets slow,
Darkness falls, the stars they glow,
Rudolf’s nose shines bright in the dark,
Santy and his sleigh are ready to embark.
Santy takes off, his sleigh in flight.
Over rooftops and towns, through the night.
With a great “Ho, Ho, Ho,” his message clear,
He is on his way to deliver magic and cheer.
