now choose your pill – reality or simulation

do we use devices?

We were waiting for ai to arrive.

Its already among us.

It knows everything you know.

And the person beside you too

Sure you checked their profile in the loo

It knows how the world works

While its leaders fall apart

Once it knows we are weak

Humanity will go dark.

This isn’t sci-fi or the latest summer flick

This isn’t a bunch of geeks with the latest trick

We humans have created a mind

That no college or university will ever find

The world was in crisis during the cold war

Through famines and pandemics fatalities sored

But nothing will prepare us for battle with AI

…for it already has read this poem

with a critical eye.
